Instruct the crew to place cases by designation, if each is labelled with a location. If not, the crew chief will need to direct the cases individually. Be sure cases are not in the way of the setup, nor in the way of one other. Establish tech and supplies areas first as these will be needed during the entire setup.
- Place Cases in Proper Locations and Order
- Face Cases the Same Way
- Don't Block Cases with Other Cases (They Will Have to be Moved)
- Don't Places Cases on Top of One Another (They Will Have to be Removed)
- Establish Work Areas and Worklights Immediately
- Set Up the Tech Pit (Area) First
- Set Up the Kits Area Next
- Have Kits Open and at the Ready to Assist the Main Setup
- Maintain Security/Vigilance Around Cases with Valuables
- Post a Replacements Log/List with a Pen on a Clipboard
